MultiVersus Season 5 begins on 4 February, 2025, and will serve as the game’s final seasonal content update. The season will run through May 30, 2025, adding new playable characters Aquaman and Lola Bunny, who will be “earnable through gameplay.” After May 30 however, all of the game’s online features will become unavailable.

Warner Bros.'s platform fighting game MultiVersus will shut down online services after Season 5 ends on May 30. The upcoming season, which begins February 4, promises two new characters: Aquaman and Lola Bunny.

The upcoming seasonal update is due to arrive in February, when a handful of new fighters, maps, and cosmetics will give MultiVersus a refresh. It's not currently known who the new playable characters will be, although Aquaman and Lola Bunny are rumoured.

Player First Games and WB Games have announced that MultiVersus will be shut down on May 30 and that Season 5's content update will be its last one. Along with the server closure, MultiVersus will also be delisted from all digital storefronts.

According to a new rumor, the free-to-play crossover fighting title MultiVersus may be ending service after the conclusion of Season 5.
