India opener KL Rahul left the field after being struck on the elbow by fast-bowling teammate Prasidh Krishna in an intra-squad match in Perth on Friday, while Virat Kohli emerged to bat despite injury concerns ahead of the test series against Australia.

India was dealt an injury scare just a week out from the first Test when veteran batter KL Rahul was forced to leave the field mid-innings on Friday after copping a blow to the elbow.
