After nearly two years of planning, Buc-ee’s has opened its first location in Virginia right off Interstate 81 in Rockingham County.

Buc-ee's opened its first Virginia location in Rockingham County, drawing customers from hundreds of miles away. The 75,000-square-foot travel center boasts 126 fueling pumps and a wide variety of food and merchandise. The grand opening drew long lines of enthusiastic shoppers, some of whom camped out overnight.

Buc-ee's is known for its clean bathrooms and barbecue, a recipe managed by Pit Master Randy Pauly. He said he's looking forward to the company's new chapter.
