Xbox Game Pass adds a 2020 title with surreal environments, unusual gameplay mechanics, and voice acting by a Game of Thrones star.

The officially-licensed baseball game is notable for being PlayStation's only franchise to launch on Xbox consoles and turn up day one on Game Pass. This year's entry, however, will skip Microsoft's subscription service for the first time since 2021.

Sniper Elite is an award-winning stealth, tactical shooter series, and according to Forbes, it has sold over 30 million units worldwide. And soon some Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the latest entry in the series, Sniper Elite: Resistance, on its first day of release.

On January 31, Xbox Game Pass will remove Death's Door and five other titles. Death's Door, a highly-rated indie game, combines Soulslike elements with Zelda-style gameplay. Darkest Dungeon is another well-reviewed game leaving Game Pass in January 2025.
