Rice falls to North Texas after late surge by Mean Green
A late North Texas surge lifted the Mean Green to a 67-61 victory over Rice on Tuesday night at Tudor Fieldhouse. After Rice overcame an 11-point lead to tie the score late in the second half, North Texas (18-6, 9-3 American Athletic Conference) scored teh game's final six points to drop the Owls to 12-13 and 3-9 in AAC play.
The Rice Owls (12-12, 3-8 AAC) will host the North Texas Mean Green (17-6, 8-3 AAC) after losing four straight home games. The matchup starts at 9:00 PM ET on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
