The Seattle Fire Department says the fire at West Seattle's historic Camp Long was intentionally set, and caused approximately $1.2 million in property damage. A burglar stole a historic muscle car from an Olympia home, just weeks after the owner had died, the family told KIRO 7 News.

8:06 PM: Seattle Fire has dispatched a “full response” to 5200 35th SW, which is the address for Camp Long. “Multiple calls on a structure on fire” at the park, per the dispatch.

The fire reportedly started on the first floor of the historic lodge, built in the 1930s as part of a federal project.
