The second-tier card in the new RDNA 4 AMD gaming GPU lineup has been announced, with launch date, pricing, and final specs to come.

In a couple of tweets, AMD elaborates on the reasons for the relatively late launch of the Radeon RX 9070 series GPUs.

AMD announced its next-generation graphics cards, the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT, at CES 2025, but curiously, neither of the two RDNA 4 graphics cards was present during AMD’s keynote, despite vendors showing off their new cards on the show floor with redacted specifications.
