The NBA offseason got a touch more interesting on Sunday when the Memphis Grizzlies traded standout guard Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks and a first-round pick swap in return.

Desmond Bane revealed during an appearance on The Young Man and the Three podcast that Memphis Grizzlies general manager and executive vice president of basketball operations Zach Kleiman wished him a happy Father's Day before informing him that he had been traded to the Orlando Magic.
