Police in Lancaster City are investigating the death of an infant child that occurred on Dec. 31, 2024. According to Lancaster City Bureau of Police, at 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 31, officers responded to the 800 block of Hilton Drive for an infant in cardiac arrest.

The baby’s age, name and gender have not been released. The cause and manner of death are unknown. The investigation is ongoing and police said they are asking anyone with information to come forward.
