SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KTRK) -- The death toll from devastating floods in central Texas has risen to 43, Kerr County Sheriff Larry L. Leitha told reporters during a news conference Friday evening.
Speaking at a news conference Sunday, Kerr County Sheriff Larry Leitha said of the 68 deceased in his county, 40 are adults and 28 are children.
Sheriff Larry Leitha of Kerr County, where the worst of the flooding occurred, said 38 of the bodies recovered in the county have been adults and 21 were children.
