By Sai Ishwarbharath B and Haripriya Suresh BENGALURU/MUMBAI (Reuters) -Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest software company, posted a smaller-than-expected third-quarter revenue on Thursday as its key North America market underperformed for the fifth consecutive quarter.

Geographically, demand was led by India market, which grew 70.2 percent YoY in constant currency (CC) terms, followed by MEA at 15 percent, Asia Pacific at 5.8 percent and Latin America at 7 percent.

TCS’s revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 63,973 crore, marking a 5.6% YoY increase (4.5% in constant currency). The operating margin was 24.5%, reflecting a YoY decline of 50 basis points but a sequential improvement of 40 basis points.
