After a little bit of rain on Thursday, forecasters anticipate clouds and moisture to stick around for a little while longer.

Our Futurecast map shows this well with clouds over most of central and eastern Massachusetts Friday and Saturday with the rain confined to the extreme southeastern areas. Even over the Cape, we don't expect more than a quarter to a half-inch of total water through Saturday.

CAPE RAIN After 29 consecutive days without measurable rainfall, the 4th longest dry stretch ever recorded in Boston, rain is returning to the area... Hopefully. A low will stall off of the Cape and South Coast over the next few days with plenty of clouds and periods of rain.
