Sep 22, 2013 · I always assumed Ariel Helwani trained, at least grappled. But does anyone know anything about his martial arts credentials? Is he a blue belt in the Gracie online training program, or a tiger belt in Ameridote? Does anyone know? Rener Gracie seemed to just assume Ariel never trained a day in his life, which struck me as odd.

Mar 24, 2009 · We all know Ariel is from Montreal. Everybody assumes he should speak French but if you know anything about Montreal, you know it's easy to live here without ever speaking French. Ariel is not from a French-speaking family. He didn't go to French-speaking schools. I assume didn't have much French-speaking friends and doesn't speak French at home.

SMH I bet a lot of people could and would do Dana White's job for a fraction of his money too.... he doesn't fight. he doesn't tell funny jokes, he doesn't have any pro fight experience, he's just a guy who got lucky he had rich friends he could convince to buy a MMA promotion.
