Jan 30, 2022 · The height of the legs def seems to have alot to do with it. Short legs would more likely melt and incinerate the aluminum. The solo stove’s new heat deflector claims to warm your lower legs and feet but makes no ascertain about the upper body (in a seated position).

What are you using to start/maintain your SoloStove fires?
Dec 28, 2020 · I have a solo stove yukon and I usually take three logs, lay them flat and build a mini fire on top of the logs with either firestarter or kindling or whatever burns quicker. One dyi firestarter is dryer lint stuffed toilet paper cardboard roll. This way, the embers from the small fire are sitting on the wood which in part gets the logs going.

Mar 23, 2022 · I highly recommend Solo’s heat deflector. I’ve made multiple versions of the home made kinds and find the Solo Stove one to be much better both in quality and function of providing a much more even heat. I would say the bonfire outdoor cover if it’s going to be stored outdoors.

Dec 24, 2021 · Have one person hold it by the top and bottom and another one to pull. It won't ever fully dissappear but you will get the dent out and just have the crease lines. If it's close to the top you could also use a wooden dowel or metal rod through the vent holes to push it out from the inside. Suction cup worked on mine.
