Day 37 with Nola. Adoption day. 🥹 Our yellow girl is off to her next adventure 🥺. After 37 days with Nola, I am so relieved we made it here. When I first picked her up she reminded me so much of a past foster whose story didn’t get this ending. She was severely underweight, anemic, and I was terrified I was about to experience another heartbreak. Instead, day by day, she fought, and her body fought right alongside her. She gained weight, found her confidence, and slowly understood she was safe
