The sounds for our Class 68 Enhancement Pack were recorded at Crewe Gresty Bridge with the locomotive under load using it's on-board 'load-bank'. This simulates, standing still, how the locomotive behaves on the move when supplying power to the traction motors. This allowed us to record the distinctive bassy exhaust note and high pitched turbochargers. Here's a short clip showing the result when going from Idle to Notch 8.
