A back cast becomes much easier when you simply turn, and act as if you are casting 180 degrees opposite your target. You basically make a forward cast but face the opposite way. You will also notice, I turn my head to look where I am casting just as you would when making a forward cast—you look at your target. The key with turning and looking is to not accidentally rotate your shoulders, or arm in such a way that would cause you to lose proper tracking. If you’d like my help improving your fly
