🎉A big milestone has been achieved in the Mid Cornwall Metro project, with a new passing loop completed by Network Rail on the Newquay-Par line. Trains re-started today following the work. The new 400m passing loop at Goss Moor will allow long-distance and local trains to run at the same time and will enable hourly trains between Newquay and Par to begin later this year, doubling the current service.
