Happy Spring Day, Friends! This is Janet Lennon coming to you with a Lawrence Welk clip and my memories of this performance. I remember this performance so well. I was 19 yrs old and had just gotten engaged to Lee Bernhardi. Mr Welk announced our engagement on the show; Lee was the stage manager on the Welk show and I think he was just off camera. Singing solos was not my favorite thing to do as I always had stage fright. But, Mr. Welk thought this song, “A Little Bird”, was cute and appropriate
