TRAINS, TRAINS AND MORE TRAINS! The Milton Keynes Model Railway Exhibition returns this weekend 16/17 Feb at Stantonbury Leisure Centre, MK14 6BN. I took my sons last year (then aged 4 and 2). I don't know what's there this year but the video shows you what they most enjoyed in 2018 - Thomas, Duplo and Lego! It was well busy last year on the one day so I hope given that it's over two days this year the crowds will be staggered - if you go I'd still take drinks and snacks just in case - the queue

FREE TO VISIT AND FREE TO PARK - This is the lovely Teardrop Lakes in Milton Keynes. It's located in Knowlhill and there's a couple of free car parks. The lily pads are still so pretty at the moment. Both my children love the big hill for rolling down. It's about a 2k circular route around the lakes and is accessible. Plenty of space to picnic. We went around 10am this morning and it was quiet.
