#AMC’s traffic project department has installed a one-way traffic spike speed bump (tyre killer bump) at the service road of Chanakyapuri Bridge. The tyre killer bumps have spikes attached on top of it which may puncture the tyre of a vehicle that approaches from the wrong direction. The city civic body plans to install more tyre-killers across the city based on the success of this pilot even though the tyre killer lost its spikes which lead to road closures. #Ahmedabad | #TyreKillers | DNA Indi

Reverse Direction Tire Spikes 🚗⚙️ This innovative road safety system ensures drivers stay in the correct lane. When a vehicle moves in the right direction, spikes retract smoothly, allowing safe passage. But going the wrong way? The spikes activate instantly, preventing accidents and enhancing traffic control efficiency. These spikes aren’t random, they’re built to stop vehicles from driving the wrong way. ⚙️ They work through a one-way traffic control system that allows cars to pass safely in the correct direction. But if a vehicle tries to move against traffic, the spikes remain upright, instantly deflating its tires to prevent accidents or unauthorized access. It’s a low-tech but highly effective method of maintaining order on busy roads, parking lots, and restricted zones around the world. #engineering #inno

Startup Revenue I Artificial Intelligence (AI) I Business on Instagram: "These spikes in Afghanistan aren’t random. They’re not decoration. And they’re definitely not there to scare you… but they will stop you instantly if you mess up. This is a one-way traffic control system, and it’s brutally effective. When vehicles move in the correct direction, the spikes lie flat, letting tires roll smoothly without damage. Everything feels normal. Calm. Orderly. But the moment a car tries to drive against

AI | Technology | Science on Instagram: "Ever wondered how roads physically stop drivers from going the wrong way? 🚗 ⚙️ These spikes in Afghanistan aren’t random at all, they’re part of a one-way traffic control system engineered to prevent wrong-way driving. Vehicles traveling in the correct direction pass safely as the spikes flatten under tire pressure. But if a car attempts to move against traffic, the spikes stay upright, puncturing tires instantly and forcing the vehicle to stop. This sim
